a substantial amount of time and money into market research. Utilizing
both our own database and databases to which we subscribe such as
JETNET (the best selling corporate jet MLS) and Airtrack (a comprehen-sive
helicopter database), we monitor changes within the aircraft markets
on a daily basis.
When selling your aircraft through Loudoun Aviation you will receive
a monthly summary of all available aircraft for sale worldwide conforming
to your fleet. You will also receive a bi-monthly comprehensive
appraisal for your aircraft which will include your aircraft's value
on the current market, recent comparables, upcoming fleet maintenance
concerns, upcoming fleet upgrades, competing aircraft values and
our opinion as to where the market is heading in the next 6-months.
We have been providing these type of aircraft appraisals to our
clients and financial institutions for over 7 years, so that they
are always aware of the true value of their asset.
Corporate Aircraft Trends
The Union Bank of Switzerland Global Equity Research Division generates
a quarterly Global Business Jet Sales Review. It is prepared by
this leading global stockbroker for its private investment clients
in order to help them decide of their investment strategies. Loudoun
Aviation is one of the small select number of business aviation
consultants which was approached by UBS to provide strategic market
indicators. As a client whose aircraft Loudoun Aviation is selling,
you will receive a copy of these reports.
Aircraft Appraisals
Loudoun Aviation provides both financial institutions and aircraft
owners with annual appraisals and/or asset analysis appraisals of
aircraft they own or finance, so that they are always aware of the
true value of that asset. Depending on the complexity of the required
appraisal, Loudoun Aviation offers its clients the appraisal service
on a menu price fee basis.
As part and parcel of our aircraft brokerage service, we automatically
provide our clients with an appraisal as to the value of their aircraft.
As the owner of your aircraft, you will undoubtedly have a very
strong sense of what it is worth, knowing its precise details and
maintenance history intimately. Naturally, our goal is to get you
the highest price for your aircraft in the shortest time possible,
however there is no doubt that it should be offered at a realistic
ask price knowing that a buyer will want to negotiate down from
there. Balancing the ask price and the take price is therefore an
important task, and for that reason we feel that these appraisals
are invaluable.
